Prototypes in two hours, not two weeks

[NEED: date]

A high-fidelity prototype used to take our team about two weeks. Now it takes about two hours, in working React, on our own design tokens. [CONFIRM wording] This is how, and what it changed.

Why two weeks was too slow

[NEED: who built prototypes before, with what, and why it took two weeks.] [CONFIRM: decisions waited on prototypes, and by the time one was ready the question had moved on.]

How it works now

1. Tokens come from Figma through MCP, so the prototype uses the same values as production.

2. [CONFIRM: AI writes the React; I decide the flow, the states and what to cut.]

3. [NEED: the review step — who sees it, and how]

[NEED: visual — Figma → tokens → code. The prototype reads the same tokens production does.]

What stays human

[NEED: what the AI does not decide in your workflow]

What it changed

Two weeks became two hours. [NEED: what was measured, how many prototypes since, who else uses it] The unified admin prototype was built this way.

Thanks to [NEED: names] for reading drafts.
