About

I lead product design at Coda (formerly Recharge.com) in Amsterdam. Recharge is a digital prepaid platform — mobile top-up, gift cards and gaming credit — in 179 countries, for 4M customers and ~1,000 brands. It's now part of Coda, after the largest fintech acquisition in Dutch history.

I joined as Senior Product Designer in 2021 and became Lead in 2023. I lead the design team, own the design system, and work across the commerce platform and the internal tools our support and operations teams run on.

Before that: seven months at NOEXIS (now Ptera) on Yell, a wallet and payments platform for underbanked users. And six years at Zombie Soup in Prishtina, where I grew from senior designer to design lead and led design 0→1 on Vianova, a remote patient monitoring platform.

I started in frontend and graphic design in 2012.

What I do best

I make operational and regulated complexity simple for the people who use it. A checkout that carries region rules without small print. An admin where controls sit inside the flow. Compliance steps that explain themselves. A design system that lets one fix ship everywhere.

How I work

Frame before screens. I start with what's broken and for whom. On the Recharge rebuild, customer interviews came before any layout.

Prototype in code when the data matters. Tables, filters and states only feel real with real data. Our prototypes went from two weeks to two hours.

Put controls inside the flow. Compliance and permissions belong where the action happens, explained — not as a wall in front of it.

Talk to both sides. Patients and doctors at Vianova, families and caregivers at Nina.care. The tension between them is usually the design problem.

One system, so a fix ships once. Six sites and five apps on one foundation.

Leading

I lead the design team at Coda. I hired two product designers, own the design system, and introduced AI-assisted prototyping across the team. At NOEXIS I mentored junior designers and set up the team's research practice.
